Now I am putting a lot of trust in this little plant (and the other 5 that are dotted around the place) to be responsible for providing a bit of diversity to our winter greens! This onion grows a large amount of foliage that tastes a lot like spring onions/chives and can be used throughout the winter. It is frost-hardy and hopefully going to supplement the vegetables that we grow in the polytunnel during the winter months.
